Some of you may not have heard about Madiha Imam. She was a VJ first but after that, she moved on to acting. Some of her more famous works include Dhaani and Heer, which was released in 2015-2016. She was even a part of the very successful Pakistani serial named “Dushmaan E- Jaan”. It was released this year. Almost everyone had praised her performance in “Maqaddar”. It is fair to say that she has been quite successful in the Pakistani entertainment industry and the latest project happens to be “Aik Jhooti Love Story”. Her fans are sure that she will be able to win hearts with her performance in the upcoming web series too.

This series will also have Bilal Abbas in the cast. He is by no means an unknown name as he has been leading the Pakistani Television industry for quite some time. But this will be the first time that Abbas and Imam work together. Mehreen Jabbar has directed the show. Umera Ahmed has been responsible for writing the plot for the series.

Meanwhile, Abbas has not been idle. He will also be seen in another web series titled “Abdullahpur Ka Devdas”. Both of these web dramas will be available for streaming on the Zee5 platform.

Is there a trailer?

Thankfully, Zee5 has released a trailer for this anticipated web series. You can watch it if you haven’t seen it already.

The filming for the entire series was mostly done in Karachi. Mehreen has gushed and announced that the cast and crew of Aik Jhooti Love Story might be the best group of people she has worked with. The show can be classified as a social comedy series. The plot will focus on developing a love triangle.

Bilal Abbas has further said that he had fun playing the typical Karachi boy with the usual dreams and aspirations. He thinks that it is the very normalcy of the role that presents him with a challenge.

The show can be safely presumed to be a hit when it comes out on Zee5. It will be available for watching from 30th October 2020.
