As he is also one of the 13 candidates created by various angels to have been chosen to take the role of God, who must retire after 999 days.

About The Series
The main character of this series is Mirai Kakehashi, who tries to commit suicide. But meets the Nasse, the guardian angel. Mirai wanted to kill herself because of her abusive uncle and aunt, but later learned from Nasse how they were responsible for her parents’ deaths. Mirai accepts authority from Nasse and uses it to bring justice to his parents. Nasse then states that in 999 days God will no longer exist. He explained that 13 candidates were chosen to replace God, including Mirai. But the competition that Mirai faces is life-threatening because competitors are willing to do anything to achieve God’s status, including eliminating all competition. The manga series is very interesting and immediately grabs the reader’s attention. Fans are calling it the next Death Note and can’t wait to get an anime adaptation.
