Arifureta, also known as, Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongestis a Japanese anime series. Just like many other anime series, this is also an adaptation of Japanese online Manga of the same name. The show premiered on July 8, 2019, on AT-X, Tokyo MX, SUN, and BS11. Kinji Yoshimoto is the director of the anime series. The online manga got adopted as a physical manga series later on.

The story managed to receive good remarks from the critics and the audience. However, the anime adaption failed to live up to the expectations of the fans and critics. According to the experts, the show misses the main element from the parent source. The anime also suffers from poor animation quality.

Arifureta Plot:

Hajime Nagumo is the protagonist of the story. He is an average looking, a day to day guy. His classmates bully him because he is in a relationship with the class idol, Kaori. He sometimes has to sleep in school. One day, he and his classmates get transported to a fantasy world. All of his classmates receive magical powers and abilities. However, Hajime receives a very pervasive power. His only ability is to transform solid matter into something else. The powers commonly found in craftsmen.

During one of the raids, one of Hajime’s classmates, betray him. He leaves Nagumo at the bottom of the dungeon to die. Hajime however, uses his skills to make weapons and tools to escape the dungeon. This makes him stronger than ever.

During his adventure, he meets imprisoned vampire Yue. Later bunny-eared Shea, the perverted dragon Tio, follows him to his journey.

Arifureta Season 2 Updates:

Arifureta is originally a web novel series. The story is very gripping. It received loved from the fans worldwide. The anime series, however, failed to receive the appreciation from the critics and the fans worldwide. The anime creators missed the basic element of the show. Also, the animation quality is poor, according to the experts. However, the creators have decided to release the second season of the show, which can be the finale of the show. The second season will release in December 2020.
