Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American Action, Adventure, and Fantasy animated television series. Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are the creators of the animated show. Avatar: The Last Airbender released on February 21, 2005, on Nickelodeon. The show received positive reviews from the critics and the audience. According to the survey, the age of the majority of the viewers ranges from 6-18 years old. It is one of the few animated shows targeted over the classic animated show watching age criteria.
The creators of the show renewed the show for two more seasons. The third season of the series released on September 21, 2007, and concluded on July 19, 2008. Premises:
The show revolves around the world where the world gets divided into four realms. Each of which expresses the four elements of nature, Earth, Fire, Water, and Earth. The people residing in these countries are called ‘benders’. These benders can control the elements represented by their domains. Amongst all, Avatar is the only one who can command all of the four elements. Avatar is responsible for maintaining peace and harmony amongst these realms. After an Avatar dies, he gets reincarnated in another human. The new peace-keeper is born in the next nation. This way, the cycle of peace goes on, and no realm gets any issue with the origin of the new Avatar. Each realm gets its chance to raise an Avatar.
Aang is the new Avatar. Since he is very young, so he must learn to use his powers to maintain peace and harmony amongst the realms.
Season 4:
Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the top-rated animated shows on Nickelodeon. The show received three seasons, but the production stopped after the release of the third season. The reason being, the Avatar movie released back in 2010. Creators have indicated that the fourth season will not come out.
