Founded on a Japanese manga series written and exemplified by Paru Itagaki, Beastars is a reasonable self-analysis of some of the centuries-old difficulties afflicting human community. He approaches complex issues such as racism and sexual violence and uses anthropomorphic animals as metaphors. The series revolves around Legoshi, a 17 year old gray wolf.
