Black Lightning Season 4

Black Lightning is an American superhero drama television series. Salim Akil is the director of the show. Black Lightning released on January 16, 2018, on The CW Networks. The show is the adaptation of DC comic character Black Lightning, created by Tony Isabella and Trevor Von Eeden.

Black Lightning did well on screens. However, critics gave mixed reviews of the show. Despite the mixed and average reviews, the show has an impressive viewership and fan base. It scored, 6.1/10 on IMDb.

The creators of the show renewed the show for two more seasons. The latest third season of the series released on October 7, 2019. The latest season has a total of sixteen chapters. It concluded on March 9, 2020. Along with all the details of the superhero show, ‘Black Lightning’.

Premises:

Jefferson Pierce is the protagonist of the show. He goes by the alias Black Lightning. Jefferson is the principal of a charter school. He is a retired superhero. Pierce can control electricity by manipulating and harnessing it. After which de decides to return as Black Lightning.

 Anissa Pierce is Jefferson’s elder daughter. She is a medical student and a part-time teacher at Garfield High. She too is a metahuman. Anissa goes by the alias Thunder and Black Bird. She can create strong shockwaves. Jennifer Pierce is Jefferson’s younger daughter. She is a student at Garfield High. She too is a metahuman. Jennifer can create pure waves of electricity. 

Season 4:

The show, Black Lightning gained traction with time. The audience loved the cinematic adaption of the DC character, Black Lightning and his metahuman family. The third season of the show concluded on March 9, 2020.

The creators have renewed the show for the fourth season. Season four of the show will be coming in January 2021.
