Borgen Season 4

Adam Price has created a political drama back in 2010. This Danish show was written by Adam Price himself, along with Jeppe Gjervig Gram and Tobias Lindholm. DR, a Danish broadcasting company has produced the show. DR has previously produced popular shows like The Killing. We have 3 seasons till now, with a total of 30 episodes.

Each episode has a runtime of about 58 minutes. Borgen is directed by Soren Kragh-Jacobsen and Rumie Hammerich. The first season made its debut on 26th September 2010. The third season was released back in2013. The protagonist of the show has been believed to be modeled after Denmark’s first female prime minister named Helle Thoring Schmidt. This is somewhat of a dubious claim because Helle was not elected before the show was made. In fact, she was elected after the completion of the second season of Borgen. But, there is no denying that the protagonist of the show, Birgitte Nyborg, has a sense of idealism in her. The creator Adam Price wants the viewers to believe that quality is rooted in reality.
