After such a long delay, the long-awaited Netflix Original Series is about to be released. Bridgerton, a drama classic of the era, is an adaptation of the novel Julia Quinn. The series was created by Chris Van Dussen and Shonda Rhimes as producers. The deal was signed in 2017.
When is the Bridgerton Season 1 release date?
Bridgerton is said to be released on a very special day. Season 1 will be released on Netflix on Christmas Day, December 25, 2020.
What are the casts comprised of?
There are some really big and interesting names who will be working on this project. Most of the cast for Bridgetown’s first season was announced back in 2019.
Julie Andrews will portray herself as the character Lady Whistledown and is one of the main characters on the show. There is also Rege-Jean Page who will portray the Duke of Hastings image.
Pheobe Dynevor will also play Daphne Bridgerton and Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton. In addition, Nicola Coughlan, the latest internet sensation. And who is gaining fame and spotlight for the original Netflix girls Derry, will also play the character Penelope Fetteringon.

The franchise has announced that Bridgertown’s second season is definitely coming. Filming for the second season will also begin in early 2021. The actors and the plot for them are clearly unknown. All updates will be published here soon.
