Chicago Fire is an action drama television series. Michael Brandt and Derek Haas are the creators of the show. Chicago Fire aired on NBC on October 10, 2012. The first season received mixed reviews from the experts. However, the ratings improved with the release of further seasons. The show gradually became very popular amongst the audience. As a result, numerous spin-offs released. Some of them did quite well, while some were short-lived. There was no update after the creators released the latest season 8 on September 25, 2019. Chicago Fire Plot:
The show focuses on the personal and private lives of the firefighters and paramedics of the Chicago Fire Department. The department is at Engine Company 51; Truck Company 81. Captain Matthew Casey is the protagonist of the show. The show starts with the death of a veteran Firefighter Andrew Darden. After his death, the loyalty splits up. It gets divided between, Captain Matthew Casey and Lieutenant Kelly Severide. Matthew is officer-in-charge of Truck Company 81 while Kelly is officer-in-charge of Squad Company 3.
Throughout the show, the two blame each other for the death of Andrew Darden. Along with them, Gabriela Dawson and Leslie Shay are also part of the show. They both are a part of paramedics. Despite the conflict, the two rival organizations come together, when it comes to saving the city.
Chicago Fire Season 11:
There is a piece of good news for the fans, waiting desperately for yet another season of the show. The creators announced the renewal of the show for further season 9 10 and 11 on February 27, 2020. However, when they will be out is still unclear. The creators sealed the show until 2024. According to which, the season 9 should come out in 2021.
