Overview

Cells at work is a Japanese manga series written and exemplified by Akane Shimizu. It is composed of the anthropomorphic cells of the human body, and the two main actors are the common red blood cells and leukocytes. Since January 2015, the cartoon has been published in Kodansha Monthly Shonen Sirius Manga Magazine, which was licensed in North America by Kodansha USA.

Plot

This story takes place in the human body, and trillions of anthropomorphic cells play a role in maintaining the health of the body. This article series focuses on these two cells.
