In the middle of this pandemic, everyone really needed some news. Well, there is certainly some good news for the Cobra Kai fans. Miguel lives in the series. Netflix has already released a first look for the third season of Cobra Kai. The clip showed Miguel, who suffered the fate of being on a life support system in season 2, alive and well. But that’s not all that the streaming service announced.
When will season three of Cobra Kai release?
The show will be back on our screen from 8th January 2021. But that is not all, the global streaming service has more news for the fans. There will also be a season 4 and that is under development.
What is Cobra Kai?
The die-hard fans of this show will need no further introduction, but for the newbies, it is important to know that this show is based on the Karate Kid series of movies. Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald have created “Cobra Kai”. This series is set in the time period after 34 years of the film. The story is told from Johnny Lawerence’s point of view. He wants to reopen the famous Cobra Kai karate dojo and that decision finally leads to the re-emergence of the old rivalry between him and Daniel LaRusso.
At first, the show was premiered on YouTube Premium but due to its enormous success it was later shifted to Netflix. We have two seasons till now with a total of 20 episodes. Each episode is about 22 to 36 minutes. Katrin L. Goodson and Bob Wilson are the producers of the show. The release date in Netflix is not too far away but for those who haven’t watched it yet in YouTube Premium or YouTube Red as it was called back in those days, this is a great opportunity to get all the three-season and binge-watch them at once.
