Dark Desire is a Mexican thriller web TV series. Epigmenio Ibarra and Kenya Márquez are the directors of the show. Dark Desire released on Netflix on 15 July 2020. The show did well on screens. It scored 6.5/10 on IMDb. The ‘Over the air’ steaming platform, Netflix released all the episodes of the show altogether. The first season of the show comprises of eighteen episodes. 

After concluding the first season, the viewers are anticipating the second season of the show. Creators of the show have not updated about the renewal of the show. Dark Desire plot:

Alma Solares is the lead of the show. She is a law school professor. Leonardo Solares is a judge and husband of Alma. He has many dark secrets within him, which he hides from society and his family. Zoe Solares is the daughter of Alma and Leonardo Solares. Brenda Castillo is the best friend of Alma Solares. Brenda gets mysteriously killed. Police and investigators rule out that Brenda committed suicide. Alma is very sure that it is a murder and not a suicide.

Leonardo is one of the suspects of Brenda’s murder. It gets out that had three lovers, Leonardo being one of the secret lovers of Brenda.

Dark Desire Season 2:

Dark Desire became the sixth most viewed title on Netflix, after its release. The first season concluded on 15 July 2020.

The creators have not yet announced the second season of the show. But, looking at the success rate of the show, it is safe to assume that the second season is around the corner.
