Dark is gaining popularity with the release of its third season recently. The third season created a buzz amongst the critics and the fans alike, and everyone started decoding the mysteries by themselves. Dark is first-ever, German Netflix original series. It is a science fiction, thriller adventure series created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. The series debuted on Netflix on 21 June 2019.

The show revolves around a fictitious German town, Winden. The tale begins with children disappearing in the township. Few of the families are aware of the wormhole under a nuclear plant. Tiedemann’s family manages the Nuclear Plant and the wormhole. In the first season, the mysteries of the missing children. The connection of the powerful families with the missing people begins to unfold. These secrets leave these families vulnerable. Later in the second season, the families try to reunite their missing members via time travel in the wormhole. During this time, the Sic Mundus fellowship is under a battle to save the fate of Winden in the future.
In the latest season, the four of the families cross each other during their time travel after the 2020 apocalypse. They find out that the events of the parallel world and this world have very strong relations. The characters try to find out a way to break out from the repeated events cycle in both the worlds.
Dark Season 4 Updates:
The creators while announcing the renewal of the third season, also made it very clear that there won’t be any more seasons of the show. Taking into that announcement into the consideration and also by looking at the ending of season 3, the chances of season 4 are in limbo.
