Dead Island 2: Playable Build leaked?

Dead Island is the hit videogame featuring survival during the zombie apocalypse. The game hit the market in 2011. Techland is the developer of Dead Island 1. The game is for Windows, Linux, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Later, there came another segment, releasing for the smartphones. The announcement of Dead island was made at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2006. The game was set to release that year but kept on delaying till 2011.

With the release of the first trailer of the game, there were a lot of controversies. We can see a dead baby in the trailer. As a result, the game received criticism as there was a lack of human emotions. Despite this, it received a positive reception for its animation and gameplay.  In North America and Europe, it was released in September 2011. In Japan, it hit the market in October 2011.  

There are various expansions of the Dead Island game. On 18 November 2014, a spin-off, Escape Dead Island, was released. There is a stand-alone expansion of Dead Island,  Dead Island: Riptide was released in 2013. The sequel of Dead Island was set to release in 2016, but the release keeps postponing indefinitely.

Gameplay and Synopsis of Dead Island

The game sets around in a tropical location of Papua, New Guinea, on the Banoi island.  After attending a high-profile party, the four main characters return to their hotel rooms for the night. They receive an emergency call on their intercom citing that the people have been infected by a virus, which is turning them into a flesh-eating monster.  These four survivors find out that they are immune to the virus. Now they have to struggle to survive this zombie apocalypse. 

Dead Island is a free world, first player perspective role-playing game.  In the game, the player has to complete the quests and survive using a melee weapon. The player can also use firearms, but they are not available initially. The player can upgrade their weapons up to three stages. The weapons also wear out due to continuous usage and will require repair and mending.

Dead Island 2 Update:

There are reports that the second part of Dead Island is around the corner to hit the market after it went under official development in 2019.  There have been reports that the playable content is out. Alleged allegations are made on Berlin-based studio Yager Development for the leak.
