Dr. Stone Season 2 Episode 1

Developed from a manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by South Korean artist Boichi, Stone is a science fiction television anime. The story begins when a science genius, Senku Ishigami, awakens in April 5738. He immediately realizes that he has been petrifying with other human beings for over 3,700 years. After several months of trying to figure out what caused the fossilization, he discovered that it was nitric acid. Ishigami then prepared a manufacture that would immediately remove humans from the fossil.

Then he let go of his best friend Taiju Ōki; Yuzuriha Ogawa, a boy who goes to school with him, and Tsukasa Shishig, a martial artist. Ishigami’s plan to return the world to its scientific and technological splendor was immediately opposed by Tsukasa, who firmly believed that human efforts to achieve scientific feats were the cause of mass petrification. News that the series has been updated for Season 2 was released shortly after the last episode of Season 1.
