Dracula is a British Horror Drama television series. Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat are the developers of the show. Dracula released on 1 January 2020, on Netflix. The show is the adaptation of the 1897 novel of the same name by Bram Stoker. The critics received the series with positive reviews. The audience too loved the setting of the show. Dracula managed to score an approval rating of 72% on Rotten Tomatoes. The Over the Air streaming platform, Netflix, streamed the episodes of the show for three consecutive days. The first season of the show concluded on 3 January 2020.

Dracula also won the 2020 Outdoor Media Awards for Grand Prix Winner. In the same award ceremony, the show received gold for the Visual Craft Award and Installation and Experience Award. Premises:

The show features the classic clash between Count Dracula and the descendants of Van Helsing. Count Dracula lives in his castle in Transylvania. He has grown old and fragile, because of his hunger. So he decides to sell off his castle and settle in Great Britain.

He rolls out the advertisement of his castle being on sale. Jonathan Harker visits the castle to assist Count Dracula in selling his place. Dracula captures Jonathan and feeds on his blood to regain his youth. Soon, Dracula frees himself from the castle and takes on a cruise boat to Britain. He gets confronted by Agatha Van Helsing, a descendant of Van Helsing. 

Season 2:

The first season of the show Dracula gained the attention of the viewers. It received appreciation for the show’s setting and cinematography. The first season of the show concluded on 3 January 2020. At the ending of the first season, Dracula gets killed. This makes the chances of the second season look bleak. But if the creators decide to resurrect the vampire, we can expect the second season to come out sometime in 2021.
