The Kissing Booth is an American Romantic Comedy movie. Vince Marcello is the director of the film. It released on May 11, 2018, on Netflix. The movie received negative reviews from critics. However, due to the huge viewership base of Netflix, the film is a commercial success. Despite getting very low reviews on various rating platforms, the film managed to gather an impressive viewership.
Not only this, but the film also managed to win Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards for best actress in 2019. Looking at all the commercial success, the creators released the sequel of the film. The second part of The Kissing Booth released on July 24, 2020.
The Kissing Booth Plot:
Elle Evans and Lee Flynn are the protagonists of the movie. They are born at the same time in the same hospital. Since then, they have been best friends. To maintain their friendship, they decide not to date each other’s relatives, ever. Elle has a crush on Lee’s elder brother, Noah. Elle and Lee discover their love for dancing on an arcade dance machine. Soon Elle discovers that her mother is terminally ill. She eventually dies. This incident deepens Elle’s love for Noah.
After a few years, she spills her high school pants, and her other pants are in dry cleaning. This makes her wear skirts in the school. A bully tries to eve tease Elle, and the bully gets punched by Noah. Later Elle and Lee plan to create a kissing booth for the school’s fundraising. Elle announces that Noah will be part of the booth. Soon everyone finds out that it was just a hoax. People find Lee instead of Noah at the booth. Popular girls set up Elle to kiss an undesirable student. But at the last second, Noah and Elle kiss each other.
The Kissing Booth 3 Updates:
The movie couldn’t manage to score good points from the critics but managed to capture the attention of the viewers. There has been no official announcement regarding the third part of the movie, but according to sources, it might come out in 2022.
