Code Lyoko About
The French Animated Television Series Code Lyoko was created by Thomas Romain and Tania Palumbo. MoonScoop Group had produced the series that premiered on France 3. Sophie Decroisette wrote the story of the series while Jerome Mouscadet directed the series.
The genre of the series includes Science fiction, Adventure, and Action. The first season was produced by the company Antefilms while season 2-4 was produced by MoonScoop Group.
It has 4 seasons with 97 episodes in total. Season 1 and Season 2 have a total of 26 episodes each, Season 3 has 13 episodes while season 4 has 30 episodes. The running time of the series is 26 minutes.
The storyline of the series:
The story of Code Lyoko revolves around a group of students who uncover a parallel universe called Lyoko inside a supercomputer, that is threatened by a renegade program named XANA that could destroy the world. Four boarding school students named Jeremy, Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd are the major characters around which the story revolves who seeks to help a humanoid being inside Lyoko named Aelita to stop the villain policy of XANA and his plans to attack their world.
Jeremy falls in love with Aelita later in the series and battles through season 1 to discover a way to materialize Aelita so that she can become human by exciting the scanners that connect Ulrich, Yumi, and Odd to Lyoko. If Jeremy would accomplish his mission he will be able to shut down Lyoko and defeat XANA. Finally, Jeremy accomplishes his dream and materializes Aelita.
In season 2 we will witness the dawn of new technology. Jeremy discovers a nicer scan program to detect activated towers so that Aelita can live on earth. To save Aelita, Jeremy is working over antivirus. A brilliant scientist named Franz Hopper seems related to Aelita after some research. After discovering the truth of Lyoko, he reveals more about XANA and Aelita.
Later, in the seasons end the group discovers that Aelita is actually a human and does not have a virus.

The series is made available to watch on Netflix on August 6th, 2012 but has been removed for unknown reasons. In 2015 all the English dub of the series are available to watch on YouTube. In the United Kingdom and the United States, the HD version of the series is available to watch on Prime Videos In 2019.
