2020, though is not a very productive year for the Television and Film industry, yet we received some of the mind-blowing contents. Extraction is one of the movies, which was not very promising initially, but later, proved its worth and might.
The Extraction is an American action movie based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks.
Sam Hargrave is the director of the movie. The movie is well-scripted, and the cinematography is up to the mark.
The plot is full of chase and action scenes, which fills the viewers with awe.
The movie premiered on April 24, 2020, by Netflix.
The plot revolves around the disputes between the biggest drug lords.
Ovi Mahajan is the son of one of the biggest drug lords. Men of rival drug lords kidnap him and transfer him to Dhaka.
Tyler Rake, who is a black market mercenary gets the contract to recover Ovi from Dhaka.
Tyler somehow manages to recover Ovi from its captors. While on the way to the extraction point, Ovi’s father fails to transfer funds to Tyler’s account. Instead, he sends Saju to recover Ovi and kill Tyler so that he won’t have to pay him.
Saju is a former Para commando and Tyler is ex-SARS operative. The feud between the two of them along with the men of local drug lord behind them makes the plot very interesting.
Later, Tyler and Saju unite to save Ovi and try to extract him out of the country safely.
Extraction 2, Updates:
The movie ends up in a cliffhanger. Tyler gets shot and no one knows if he survives or not. In the last scene, we can see that Ovi sees the shadow of a man as he jumps in the pool. Can that shadow be of Tyler?
Well, the second part of the movie can address both the timelines of the story.
