Beverly Hills Cop 4

The Beverly Hills Cop is an American action comedy film series and omnidirectional television pilot based on the characters created by Daniel Petri Jr. and Danilo Bach. In the film, Eddie Murphy plays Axel Foley, a savvy street cop from Detroit who travels to Beverly Hills, California to investigate crimes that are outside his jurisdiction. There he meets Detective Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), Sgt John Taggart (John Ashton), and Lieutenant Andrew Bogomil (Ronnie Cox). Ashton and Cox did not appear in Beverly Hills Cop III. Murphy, Reinhold, and Gil Hill, who plays chief Inspector Axel, are the only actors to appear in all three films. Harold Faltermeier produced the already famous thematic song “Axel F”, which was heard throughout the series. The series is usually distributed by Paramount Pictures. The films grossed $ 735,534,503 at the global box office.

After a failed attempt at a film-based television series, Paramount decided to produce another film with an unknown release date.

Expected Plotline for Season 4:

The fourth entry in the series was originally announced for release under production company Eddie Murphy in the mid-1990s, although that never happened. The project should be back in development in 2006, with Jerry Bruckheimer again as producer. That changed when Lorenzo di Bonaventura took overproduction. After various versions of the script were rewritten, Brett Ratner joined the director. Until July 2008, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas were hired as scriptwriters to rewrite the existing script. After the script was completed, it was decided that the story should be rewritten again.
