Gate Season 3
Like many anime, this one is also originated from a manga series. The Gate fantasy novels are a creation by Takumi Yanai. Daisuke Izuka and Kurojishi have illustrated this series. The anime series is directed by Takahiko Kyogoku and the team of producers includes Nobuhiro Nakayama and Teppei Ota. The anime is produced by the A-1 Pictures Studio and it was first launched on 4th July 2015. The show is a fantasy series that tells the story of medieval soldiers as they emerge from a portal and proceed to attack the city.
This anime named “Gate” was aired in two parts. The first half, as mentioned before, was released in July and it had 13 episodes in it. The last of the episodes were aired in September. The second half was available for the fans from January of 2016. The second half also had 13 episodes just like the first half and it was finished airing by March of 2016. The show is very popular among the anime lovers and fans are impatient for season 3.
What is the story about?
The plot of “Gate” is focused on Lieutenant Yoji Itami. He is working for the Japan Self-Defense forces. When a suspicious gate opens in the city of Ginza, located in Tokyo, several mythological characters use that gateway to enter the city and wreak havoc. They even try to murder the citizens. The Defense Force of Japan is successful in diverting the enemies. They also establish forward base operations so that the world can be protected properly. To make the peace negotiations go smoother, Itami looks for help from his old acquaintances. One of his old friends happens to be Princess Pina.
In the upcoming season, fans can expect to see the fight between the army and Zorzai. The new season will bring a lot of exciting drama with it.
What is the release date of season 3?
Unfortunately, the makers of “Gate” have not announced an official release date for the third season. Fans are hopeful that the new season might be released this year.
