Marvin Lemus and Linda Yvette Chavez have created a comedy-drama show called Gentefied. It is an American drama that aired on Netflix on 21dt February 2020. Till now, we only have one season with 10 episodes. Each episode stretches for about 25 minutes to half an hour. The team of executive producers includes America Ferrera, Monica Macer, and Kim Roth. Wileen Dragovan is the producer of the show.
Gentefied is a drama about the important social issue of gentrification, which takes place in a Log Angeles neighborhood. The second season of Gentefied will definitely be happening.

The renewal of Gentefied took place on 18th May. The first season came out in February so it didn’t take a lot of time to decide on making another season. Season 2 will have eight episodes, unlike the first season which had ten episodes. But the duration of the episodes stays the same. This show is based on a Sundance web series, which came out in 2017 with the same name. The show focuses on three Mexican-American cousins named Ana, Erik, and Chris. They work in a taco shop, which was owned by their family for generations. The show follows them as they navigate their lives while dealing with the problem of gentrification.

The event had a target for raising awareness for Proyecto Pastoral. It is a non-profit organization that tries to address the harsher impact of Covid-19 on low-income inhabitants. When will the second season be released?
There is no fixed release date, the viewers will just have to wait for the formal announcement. The work was stopped due to the pandemic. If we had to take a guess, we would say that the new season will probably reach the screen by next year at the earliest.
