The Stand

Overview

An American dark series “ The Stand” is founded on the 1978 novel of the same name by Stephen King. Published on December 17, 2020 by CBS All Access. February 25, 2014 Warner Bros. Pictures as well as the CBS Films are formulating a modification of Stephen King’s fiction “The Stand”. The film will be produced by Josh Boone with Jimmy Miller and Roy Lee.

On March 30, 2018, it was announced that CBS All Access would rework the project into a 10-hour limited edition with someone still curating. On January 30, 2019, CBS All Access announced that it had placed an order for 10 consecutive productions. The series was written by Boone and Ben Kavel, and both are expected to co-produce with Roy Lee, Jimmy Miller, Richard P. Rubinstein, Will Weiske and Miri Eun, and Owen King as a producer. The producers involved in the series include

Finally, when the writing was complete, the number of episodes was changed to 9.

Filming

Production began on September 19, 2019 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Filming ended in early March 2020.

Music

The original sheet music for this series was written by Nate Walcott and Mike Mogis, who contributed to other works by Josh Boone.

Release

The miniseries will air on December 17, 2020, with new episodes every week.
