Taking care of yourself is now more important than ever. And now Netflix has partnered with Headspace for three original series in 2021, starting with the Headspace Guide to Meditation. The streamer will feature two more series, including Headspace Guide to Sleep and other interactive experiences later this year.

The new wellness project was announced by Netflix Vice President Brandon Rigg and Headspace co-founder and former Buddhist monk Andy Pudicombe. The first of the three, the Headspace Guide to Meditation, explores the basics of meditation and how meditation can help us to be more present and less distracted in our daily lives.

In eight animated episodes, Puddicombe translates viewers through the benefits and knowledge behind meditation. Each 20 minute episode demonstrates a different mindfulness technique that helps in practicing meditation. It focuses on issues such as stress, sleep, and relaxation and ends with a guided meditation at the end of each chapter.
Produced by Vox Media Studios, the show provides moments of silence and demonstrates that practicing meditation is easy and accessible for everyone. However, after traveling in 2020, everyone can use a little rest.
