Top 5 Wrestling Movies

What is the most popular wrestling film ever made? When you try to think about all the wrestling films, you probably haven’t made up too much. You may even think that there really aren’t many films on the subject to get you started.
Making a complete list can be difficult, especially if you put 20 films in if you didn’t watch all kinds of films that involve fighting. In other words, it’s not enough to just include films that are solely about wrestling in high school or college, plus professional wrestling and a few other things. Also, as a movie buff, you can think about which published films had great success. It is also wrong not to include a documentary of the fight here.

1. Beyond the Mat (1999)

This is for sure one of the most interesting films on the subject ever made. In fact, it serves as a documentary about the life of a professional wrestler. The film focuses on her life outside the ring and allows viewers to see what her life would be like off-stage. The first thing you might notice is that the same people standing there screaming with the tips of their lungs during the wrestling match are, for the most part, very gentle and friendly.

One thing is for sure, after watching this documentary, you will hardly see the fight in the same way.

3. FoxCatcher (2014)

This film made many titles when it was first released a few years ago. With Channing Tatum in attendance, he reported on the recruitment of an Olympic gold medalist who is actually a wrestler. This film roughly discusses some of the things these people have been through. It’s a fairly dark film, but also an interesting subject render. If you haven’t seen it, then you don’t know what you are missing.
