Hilda is a British-Canadian web series that is based on the graphic novel series by Luke
Pearson by the same name. The series is directed by Andy Coyle and is produced by Silvergate
Media and Mercury Filmworks and is streamed on Netflix. The Netflix animation revolves around
the courage and adventures of a character named Hilda.

The series first premiered in 2018 and got enough appreciations and encouragement from the
viewers that now, the second season is ready to be revived and release. Yes, it’s food news for
the Hilda lovers. The second season is expected to release in the fall of 2020, or the start of
2021. However, there is still no update regarding the release due to the current pandemic
situation.

Hilda follows the mythology of a comic book and demonstrates the adventures in the book
through a girl named Hilda.

The storyline revolves around the twentieth-century Scandinavia period where Hilda identifies the city life along with her companion Alfa. The second season is depended upon the first four comic books namely, Hilda and the Bird Parade, Hilda and The Dark Hound, Hilda and the Troll and Hilda and the Midnight Giant.

The cast of Hilda includes the following characters:

  • Bella Ramsey as Hilda.
  • Daisy Haggard as Johanna who is Hilda’s mother.
  • Ameerah Falzon as Ojo who is Hilda’s best friend and one of the top students in their
    school.
  • Oliver Nelson as David who is Hilda’s other best friend and the fellow Sparrow Scout.
  • Ilan Galkoff as David’s singing voice.
  • Rasmus Hardiker as Alfur Aldric, an elf who accompanies Hilda and her mother to
    Trolberg.

The other additional voices in the series include Kaisa Hammarlund, Claire Skinner, Nina Sosanya, Kaisa Hammarlund, Reece Pockney, Simon Greenall, Claire Skinner, Nina Sosanya, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.

The second season of Hilda is going to release officially on Netflix in the fall of 2020. It is
