Horimiya spoilers

Kyoko Hori is a beautiful and popular girl, while Izumi Miyamura looks like an otaku to her classmates. However, both of them hid their identities while at school. Izumi used her bangs and long glasses to hide the many piercings. There are also several tattoos. On the other hand, Kyoko prefers to stay at home, cook, clean, and take care of her younger brother, Suta. One day Suta came home injured. Kyoko was too worried about her to pay attention to the older boy who brought her back. When she realized that this stranger had helped her brother with multiple piercings, he invited her. Only then did he realize that the boy was not a stranger at all, but his classmate Izumi. After the first shock, he asked her to return to her home. As the two protagonists spend more time together, they discover that they go to great lengths to keep each other’s secrets to themselves.
In the pilot’s final moments, Kyoko explained that he wanted to continue to be associated with Izumi no matter what other people thought. She also tells him that she rejects Toru, a boy in her class. In episode 2, they can continue to learn from each other outside of school. The following is a snippet for the next episode.
