A supernatural series, with quick and unpredictable twists which will take you to an unsettling journey of crime, violence, and supernatural elements. This Flemish language, the supernatural series featuring crime drama, Hotel Beau was first released on 1 January 2017 on Eén channel (Belgium channel).
For the rest of French-speaking Belgium, Germany, and France, the series was released on 2 March 2017. The series is directed by Nathalie Basteyns and Kaat Beels and is created by Bert Van Dael, Sanne Nuyens, and Benjamin preggers. In other countries, it was aired on 16 March 2017, through Netflix. The second season is just around the corner to be released real soon.
Plot
Surprisingly, the initial shooting of the series was done at real Hotel Beau Séjour, which is quite uncommon for series and movies. Kato finds her own naked body in a bathtub after she wakes up drenched in blood in a hotel’s room. With no memory of what happened to her, she flees from the hotel’s room.
The things already seemed strange when she returns home and nobody seemed to acknowledge her presence even in her own home. To chase this mystery, she sets on to find out the reasons. She meets her drunk father, who asks her to go to the police regarding this issue she is facing. To her surprise, even the police cannot see her.
She, then realizes that she is visible to only some people and for the majority of people, she doesn’t exist. Things become curvy when her own body is recovered from flooded gravel. She now has to get down to the quest of finding her murderer. The story is quite gripping for most of the part and promises to keep the viewers stuck to their seats!
Hotel beau séjour season 2
The second season of The Hotel Beau Séjour was officially announced by its creators in November 2017.
There has been no confirmation on dates as to when the second season will release, but our safest bet is in the first trimester of 2021.
