Interspecies Reviewers is an adult comedy anime series. The show is the adaptation of a manga, Interspecies Reviewers written by Amahara and illustrated by Masha. The manga received its animated adaptation in 2019.  Yuki Ogawa is the director of the anime series. The series released on AT-X on January 11, 2020. The producers decided to censor the series due to the adult content in the show. Later, the show released in English on BBC on March 7, 2020. The series was added and got removed from various OTT streaming platforms. This was all due to the sexual content of the show.

About the Show:

The show revolves around the alternate dimension of our world. Stunk, Zel an elf, and Crimvael, an angel are the protagonist of the story. There is a world, where prostitution is legal. In that world, no human lives, but humanoids such as elves live. There is a separate brothel for each species of the humanoid.

Succu-girls’ for the pleasure. These girls are the descendent of the succubus. Succubus is a female demon in folktales, who is said to take men by seducing them. The blood of the demon runs in the veins of these girls. These ‘succu-girls’ have different purposes for different species. The visitors, post the reviews and ratings about these girls and post them at the brothel.

Season 2 Updates:

The anime series, Interspecies Reviewers, did not have very strong luck with the streaming platforms. It kept on getting removed from one platform and another. The reason being, the uncensored and extremely graphics content.

Looking at history, it is difficult to predict, if it will be back for season 2 or not.

However, looking at the fanbase, it has a huge viewership. If the producers take into consideration the popularity of the show, we can expect the show to come out in 2021.
