Re Zero became one of the most outstanding anime television series soon after it premiered in April 2016. The Title “Re Zero” implies “Restarting Life From Zero”. The series was based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name.
Tappei Nagatsuki had written the series whereas Shin Ichiro Otsuko illustrated them. The story of the series concentrates on Subaru Natsuki, a socially withdrawn, detached, and lonely person. Suddenly, Subaru discovers himself transported into another world on his way home from the comfort store. In 2016, White Fox and Studios Kadokawa had adapted the series into an anime series. Masaharu Watanabe had directed the series and Masahiro Yokotani is the writer. The series has been honored for its psychological and scientific principles and the analysis of psychological difficulties of privacy and social withdrawal. Also, the audience acclaimed the show for its unique blend of science fiction, adventure, and dark fantasy.
About Season 3
The first season was released in 2016 and the half of the second season was premiered in 2020 with the second half airing on January 2021. We can see that there was a long gap of four years between the two seasons. The second season was made on the demands of the audience. The current season 2 received a very good response from the fans which is enough for the makers to work on the third season.
No official announcement has been made considering the release of the third season. But the producer Sho Tanaka is sure that the fans would be asking for Season 3 after watching season 2. So the makers are already working on the third season.

Season 2 of the series has not concluded yet, so there is no news on the plot of Season 3. This anime series still has a lot of things to cover compared to the original novels.
