Plot and Review

The story revolves around a young girl, Kipo. The setup is of post-apocalyptic earth, which is now inhabited by many strange creatures. These mutant animals are called “mutes”. Kipo is in search of her missing father. She somehow comes to the surface of the earth which is now ruled by these “mutes”. She then joins few other survivors of the wasteland. Now she has to save herself from everyone who is trying to kill them. She later discovers that every mute trying to kill her is very adorable down in their hearts.

The animation is a traditional Korean way of animation and it fills the screen with vibrant colors. Unlike other series depicting, post-apocalyptic scenario, the scene in this series looks very alive and vibrant. Which differentiates it from other similar series. Although Kipo is the hero of the story, we found her to be very subtle against her attackers. Despite being the leader of the series, Kipo is more into making friends and diplomacy. It’s her teammates who are into planning strategies and combat. This way the viewers get to choose their hero according to their preference.
