Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts Season 3

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts Season 3

One of the most hopeful, cheerful, friend-centric post-apocalyptic stories on television is Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. While the stakes are higher in season three, and some losses and setbacks are experienced by the team of characters.

The sheer amount of faith packed into these 10 episodes in a better future is exactly the kind of story viewers need in the world in the midst of pandemic and political turmoil. The delusion behind the story arc is that an end of days that created Mutes, clever, giant cybernetic animals, dominating the surface, pushing humans underground, occurred 200 years ago. Since then, a few groups of humans have been trying to “heal” Mutes, restore them to their normal forms and intelligence at the animal level, so that humans can live on and rule the surface world once again.

The show’s first two seasons concentrate on Kipo ‘s battle with Scarlemagne, a Mute Mandrill, who she discovers was given intelligence by her parents in the laboratory. Like Scarlemagne, Kipo also discovers that she is an experiment: her parents mixed her DNA in utero, and she was already part of Mute when she was born. In order to confront Scarlemagne, she learns to control her Mega Jaguar form, but she discovers that he’s a mirror of her, and although she wins the day, she’s confident that Scarlemagne can change his ways.

More About

There will be no disappointment for viewers who have been eager for more of their favorite characters. Kipo, her human surface friends Wolf and Benson, and her Mute companions Dave and Mandu all have plenty of time in the spotlight. The main character group. With her abusive Mute family, one episode returns to Wolf’s history. Another conveys the theme behind how Benson and Dave became acquaintances (though its exact truth behind the tale might not be known since that episode is narrated by Dave).

Although there are some sillier notes in season 3, they seem to be recognized by the show itself; it knows when things are stupid and it embraces that. That fits the tone perfectly for a show about adorable monsters, where friendship is the most fundamental tool in winning the conflict. As a family, this is a whole series worth bingeing, and you may just come away from it with the hope that tomorrow has the potential to be better, and all the days after. Perhaps it might even be the Age of Wonder.
