KonoSuba Season 3
Although it ended more than three years ago in the second season, KonoSuba remains one of so many fans’ most popular and beloved series. Personally, I don’t believe that there is much anime like KonoSuba, which is funnier or have more iconic characters. Here’s all you need to know about season 3 of KonoSuba including its renewal status and the release date.
KonoSuba Season 3: Renewal Status
The Studio Deen was not formally confirmed when KonoSuba season 3 was written. The new KonoSuba project was in operation in 2017, two from the voices casting for the anime. While most of us thought it was about season 3, it referred to the film “Crimson Legend” in 2019. A Kaokawa producer claimed that season 3 “has a good opportunity” if the film is good (what did it). Since then, however, the future of the hit anime series has been suspiciously silent.
KonoSuba Season 3: Premiere
KonoSuba Season 3’s official release date was not confirmed at the time of writing. Fans expect that Kazuma, Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin might be back in early 2021 but the prediction will have been more realistic by the middle of 2021 or 2022. However, the release date news should be taken with a pinch of salt. Production of many anime shows has been halted due to the current pandemic. Interestingly enough, Monster & Critics said that the basic work for KonoSuba Season 3 is now beginning.
What will be the story arc?
When renewed, the plot for the 3rd season should be a direct continuation of the Crimson Legend film, which took itself from where season 2 went. Each KonoSuba’s first two seasons had two volumes of manga adapted and the film covered volume 5. Therefore, we can expect that everything from volume 6 and 7 would be covered by the third season. But depending on season four, it could be changed again.
