Last Man Standing is an American sitcom series. Jack Burditt is the creator of the show. It released on October 11, 2011, on ABC. Later it started airing on Fox Network. The show could not manage to score well on review sites. The show scored a low aggregated 14% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, it managed to get an impressive viewership. The show is one of the highest-grossing shows on ABC. ABC networks renewed the Last Man Standing for 6 seasons. After which the channel declined further productions.
Later, FOX Networks picked up the show for the seventh and eighth seasons. The eighth installment of the show released on January 2, 2020.
Last Man Standing Plot:
Michael Martin is the protagonist of the show. He is the father of three daughters. He is the director of marketing for the Outdoor Man chain of sporting goods stores. He is a man of strong values and a fanatic of sports. However, in the outside world, he is the man of the family. But, in the house, he is surrounded by Baxter females who take care of all the decisions of the house. The show is a comic approach towards the women dominated world.
Last Man Standing Season 9:
Last Man Standing streamed for 6 seasons on ABC Network. However, the show did not get appreciation from the critics, but the viewers somehow enjoyed the show. It became one of the most viewed shows on ABC. ABC cancelled the show after releasing the sixth season. Fox picked up the show and released the seventh and eighth season of the show.
FOX Network has renewed the show for the ninth season as well. But, due to the COVID pandemic, the date is under perplexity. We are expecting the show to come out sometime in 2021.
