Lenox Hill Season 2

Lenox Hill is a docuseries premiering on Netflix. It was first aired on 10th June 2020. It is created by Ruthie Shatz and Adi Barash. The show is centered around four medical professionals from the diverse fields of neurosurgery, emergency medicine, obstetrics, and gynecology. This amazing documentary shows the audience how these medical professionals deal with their work and personal lives. The filming of Season I was finished between 2018 and 2019 in Lenox Hill health facility located at Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The ongoing pandemic has reminded us how precious health workers are.  The documentary deserves a spot on our watchlist.

The refreshing aspect of this show is that it is not scripted. Unlike shows like House M.D or Grey’s Anatomy, Lenox Hill has real footages from an actual hospital. This unique show has been the recipient of good reviews. It is an honest effort to showcase the grueling work that the doctors do. The job of a doctor comes at a physical and emotional price. As the main participants are from different areas of specialization the show portrays a variety of patients. The patients range from teenagers to the elderly. Lenox Hill is real enough to accept the bureaucracy that comes with medical management. The show also shows the doctor’s personal life and precarious balance. The episodes of Lenox Hill do not lack symmetry. Season 1 has 8 episodes.
