Satelight Studios is the producer of the anime series.
The series debuted on October 5, 2013, on NHK Educational TV. The first season has 25 episodes, and it ran till March 22, 2014.
Studio DEEN replaced Satelight Studios for the second season. The second season released on October 4, 2014. Like the first season, the second season too has 25 episodes.
The third season is on the way of getting released. The third season will come under the title, “Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round”.
Log Horizon Season 3 Plot
The story unfolds as 30,000 players find themselves trapped in another world. This happens while they were playing an online game, Elder Tales.
Shiroe is a veteran gamer and gets trapped in another world too.
All the players who got vanished are alive, but they will have to fight the monsters of the mysterious world. The trapped players are forced to run to Akiba. Shiroe then develops Log Horizon, a shun.
Shiroe and his teammates gain the trust of other residents of Akiba after Shiroe defeats the goblins in a battle. The highest-ranking Earthling aristocrat, Princess Rayneshia becomes the ambassador of Akiba.
After maintaining peace, Shiroe and his team decide to leave Akiba and go to someplace else.
Log Horizon Season 3
The third season will be releasing in January 2021. The third season will have 12 episodes. Where will Shiroe and his team go, will be clarified in the third season
