Lucifer is an American urban fantasy television series. Tom Kapinos is the developer of the show. It premiered on FOX on January 25th, 2016. The story is the adaptation of a DC comic character featured in “Sandman” comics.
Lucifer later became the solo protagonist of a comic book series published by DC.
Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer of the show under DC entertainment and Warner Bros Productions. Initially, the critics gave mixed reviews but it improved as the seasons advanced. FOX cancelled the third season of Lucifer. Later Netflix picked it up and released its third and fourth season.
Plot
The story revolves around, Lucifer Morningstar (Satan) who gets tired of his job at hell and plans to go out on a vacation for a while. So he gets settled in Los Angeles where he runs a nightclub.
The story develops as the crime rate starts to increase in Los Angeles and LAPD starts to get confused with the solving of the crime. Here, Lucifer despite being Satan decides to work with LAPD as a consultant. Because of his supernatural power to make any person confess to the crime that person might have committed. Also, he can get down to their darkest and deepest desires and fantasies.
The series gives a mixed approach of emotions to the audience. Ranging from humor to empathy. The series truly has a huge emotional spectrum.
Season 5 part 2?
The first part of the fifth season of Lucifer released recently in August 2020. The audience waited for the fifth season for a long time. The fifth season managed to live up to the expectations of the fans.
The fifth part has sixteen episodes in total. The first part came with eight episodes. There is no definite date of the release of the second part of the fifth season.
We are expecting the second part of the fifth season to release sometime in 2021.
