Maruti Swift Hybrid
The Swift Hybrid was recently announced by Maruti Suzuki at the Auto Expo in Noida. The model shown is the 32 km/L version of the Japanese specification in the Japanese motorcycle test. We look forward to attractive prospects for the Indian market. Read below to find out more about the features and prices of the Maruti Swift Hybrid.
Maruti Swift Hybrid Powertrain
The Maruti Swift Hybrid transmission was introduced in Japan in 2017. The vehicle’s hybrid system differs from the Suzuki SHVS mild hybrid system found on the new Ciaz, Ertiga, XL6, and Brezza. This hatchback is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that produces about 92 horsepower and 118 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a 10 kW electric motor and a five-speed automatic transmission (AGS). The Indian version assumes a 1.2-liter engine with 92 horsepower. It was replaced by a conventional 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 82 hp.
Maruti Swift Hybrid Mileage:
This hybrid system automatically stops the combustion engine and switches to EV mode. When the vehicle rolls over, accelerates to a constant speed, or drives through the vehicle. Thanks to the lightweight hatchback and the hybrid system, the car can reach a range of up to 32 km / l.
Maruti Swift Hybrid Specifications
The featured variant comes with a steering column switch, DSBS, and a laser sensor that detects pedestrians and vehicles in the front and side airbags. However, the Indian specification is skeptical about this feature.
Maruti Swift Hybrid Exterior & Interior
It is similar in appearance to the Indian Swift Special and is not easily distinguished from the regular petrol Swift. The interior is somewhat similar to the regular Swift, which includes a touchscreen infotainment system, a chrome-plated interior door handle, a rev counter, and more.
Maruti Swift Hybrid Price & Launch Date
The launch is expected to take place in December 2021. There is currently no BS6 diesel in the Maruti family, so it appears to be replacing Swift diesel bearings. The price is expected to be a surcharge of 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh depending on the decor. For your information, the quick sale starts at Rs 5.14 (Ex-showroom).
