The Maruti Suzuki XL5 is basically a Wagon R in a top-notch outfit. Recent spy photos show that the hatchback will be available with a redesigned front and rear design. We also expect a redesigned cabin with first-class elements. It is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-liter petrol engine as the Wagon R. Maruti Suzuki will sell the XL5 exclusively through the Nexa dealer chain. Expected to debut at the Auto Expo and get a premium over the Wagon R.
The XL5 has recently been re-tested. It will be showcased at Auto Expo 2020.
The WagonR’s 1.2-liter engine is said to deliver 83 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Maruti can also provide the same powertrain capabilities as the WagonR (5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT).
The XL5 is expected to offer features such as 15-inch alloy wheels, spotlights with LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights. Maruti will likely offer high-quality finishes, automatic temperature control, and start/stop buttons.
The anticipated launch date of Maruti XL5 is 20th February 2021.
Maruti XL5 is not currently available at road prices in the cities.
However, its expected price maybe 5-6 lakh. The reason for this price is justified by the increase in premiums. Additional costs associated with all the features offered over the regular Wagon R and a full cabin. There are two options, and the lower option will lose some of the room’s features. The upper version is fully loaded.
Maruti XL5 has 1 petrol engine. The petrol engine has a volume of 998 ccs. Also, it has a manual transmission.
The cabin can be fitted with a Touchscreen SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a multifunction steering wheel, MID drive, and automatic temperature control.
You Can’t believe it that Maruti Suzuki’s, new XL5 is similar to the Wagon R but better than the Wagon R. It’s so beautiful. This is what the premium version of the legendary Wagon R looks like. Very sporty and aggressive. The best car is the Maruti Suzuki, comfortable with many luxuries and spacious as well.
