What about season 2 renewal?

Unfortunately, the show “Merry Happy Whatever” will not be coming back to our screens because the network has canceled the show after one season only. The creator of the show has confirmed the fact through his Instagram account. The first season of the show ended with Matt, the partner of Emmy wins over the family members to his favor. He also gets engaged. Kayla, who is Emmy’s sister also comes to terms with her sexuality and finds a potential love interest. Perhaps Netflix might change the decision and decide to give this sitcom another chance. The plot is capable of supporting many more seasons as there are always more holidays to look forward to and the awkward and cringy moments with families will also be there.
The viewers have had a positive response to the cast. Especially Don’s daughter Kayla has been praised for her character development.
