The first show, Headspace Guide to Meditation, kicks off January 1 and, according to Netflix, “looks at the basics of meditation and how meditation can help you become more present and less distracted in your daily life.” Focused on benefits ranging from stress management to gratitude, begins with teaching approaches and techniques, and then ends with a guided meditation.
Headspace co-founder and former Buddhist monk Andy Pudicomb walk through eight 20-minute episodes step-by-step He used his voice to narrate along with delightful animations and soothing music. The series also features subtitles and voice acting in 30 languages.
For warmth, watch an excerpt from The Headspace Guide to Meditation, which Netflix says “provides moments of calm and demonstrates that meditation exercises are easy and accessible to everyone.”
Isn’t it calmer? Two other Netflix and Headspace shows, “Headspace Guide to Meditation” and the mysterious “Interactive Experience”, will be released in late 2021. More details on both series are expected.
