nobody sleeps in the woods tonight

Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight is a Polish horror murder film about young Polish technologically dependent camping off-line in 2020. Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight’s Polish title was: Wlesie dzis never zasnie nikt.

All that we know about the film!

Tonight is nothing but a love-film of a cinephile who grew up looking at The Goonies, The Evil Dead, The Terminator, He-Man and Masters of the Universe, and many other colorfully but terrifying stories that Poland watched on the VCRs by children who were raised in the late 1980s and early 1980s. Kowalski, who also wrote the script with producers Jan Kwieciński and Mirella Zaradkiewicz, puts his history back in the background of 30 years ago when a mailman knocks twice on the door of a house in the forest and he encounters a bad force. Three decades later, in an Offline Camp (where all electronics are banned), a group of teenagers who are sentenced to stay for a while will get close and private with malicious creatures as deformation and bloodthirsty monsters.

However, do not make any error: although the film’s tone is inspired by nostalgia, many jump scares are executed excellently and there is a genuinely dull environment. The Director, producers, cast, and score composer Jimek must also receive much credit (especially Wieniawa and Lupa) whose music, relying on the sound of sci-fi in the 1980s, increases discomfort and strengthens suspensions of disbelief. There is nothing worse than a wild creature that makes you laugh than to be afraid. The special make-up effects are wonderful.

Release date of the film

On 28 October 2020, no one will be able to sleep at the Woods Tonight on Netflix.
