The famous mobile phone company OnePlus has recently released its first budget-friendly mobile, Nord. The company OnePlus is known for its performance-orientated devices. OnePlus is a China-based company, majorly owned by Oppo. The company began to roll out its devices in 2013. During that time, the customers had to register themselves to avail of the devices. OnePlus is still one of the biggest stockholders of mobile phones in India. It produces premium range phones, which are at the flagship level.
Recently OnePlus released its ‘OnePlus 8’ series. The series is one of the pioneers in introducing 5G compatibility. Also, the 8 series comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display. All these specifications made the price of the devices quite high for the Indian market. The highest variant of ‘OnePlus 8’ costs at around Rs. 59,000/- currently. To resolve the issue, OnePlus came up with a new budget-friendly device, ‘Nord’.

The phone comes in two variants. The base variant of the phone is 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Storage. While the second variant of the phone is 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage. There are two color options available too, Blue marble and Gray Onyx.

The device runs at Android 10, OxygenOS 10.0, out of the box. The phone has a 4115 mAh battery with a 30W fast charger. The device gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is also one of the few phones to have an HDR10+ rating. Though there is no IPS rating on the device.
OnePlus Nord, Pricing, and Availability:
OnePlus Nord will be available for sale from August 4. However, the customers can register for their pop-up sale for early access. For early access, the device will release on 27th July. The base variant of the device will cost ₹27,999. The higher-end will cost ₹29,999.
