One of the great new debut series of 2020 on Netflix is “Outer Banks”. In July 2020, it was given a second season order back and seems to be starting the productions at the end of August 2020.

Introduction

Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke had created an American action-adventure mystery teen drama Television Series “Outer Banks”. The genre of the series comprises of Mystery, Thriller, Action-Adventure, and Teen drama. First Season of the series premiered via streaming on Netflix on April 15, 2020. And in July 2020, it was announced that the series will be renewed for its second season. The first season of the series consists of a total of ten episodes with a running time of 46-56 minutes.

Premise

The series “Outer Banks” follows a committee of teenagers in the Outer Banks of North Carolina who are called “Pogues”, and live at The Cat. They are determined to find out what arose to the missing father of the group’s ringleader, John B. On the way, they recognize a legendary treasure that is tied to John B’s father.
Hunted by the law and a wealthy and superior group called the “Kooks” from Figure Eight, the Pogues strive to conquer obstacles such as drugs, fighting, friendship, love, money and how the rich keep on winning in their journey to reach John B’s father’s motive that he had been working on for 20 years.

Release Date of Season 2

On 24th April 2020, it has been officially announced about the renewal status, and four-month after the announcement, Netflix finally announced that Outer Banks would be returning. The filming of the second season begun on 31st August, 2020. Despite the fact that many productions in the US remain Stalled once again the series will be filmed in Charleston, South Carolina. Therefore, fans will most likely have to wait until the end of 2021 for the second season.
