Pit Bulls & Parolees is a reality show which started to air in 2009. It premieres in the Animal Planet network. The production company is 44 Blue Productions and each heartwarming episode lasts for about 42 minutes. The series is centered around VRC or the Villalobos Rescue Centre. Originally the center was situated in Agua Dulce (California). But later the VRC shifted to Greater New Orleans (Louisiana). The brilliant series has 15 seasons for now, and it is renewed for another season too. Fans of the show can relax as the 16th season will be here soon and our favorite rescue center will appear on our screens.
What is the show about?
Pit Bulls and Parolees is all about second chances in life. Both for the animals in need of rescue and the VRC staff. Tia Torres, the owner of Villalobos Rescue Centre, is dedicated to dismantling the unfair stereotypes that this breed of dogs generates. Her whole life is devoted to the fulfillment of this mission. In addition to running the largest pit bull rescue center, she also employs people recently released from prison. Torres and her staff work to give the discarded and abused dogs another shot at a happy home. Each episode usually shows the rescue of a dog as well as the adoption of one. Dog lovers should give this series a try.
What about season 16?
We know a bit about the plot of the next season. Tia Torres has been working at a dog shelter for about 30 years. This experience gives her a good idea for what to expect in this field. But, apparently, the situations in New Orleans can still keep her on her toes. Sweetcakes, a canine that had just gotten adopted, is suddenly returned after Torres’s team gets a call. The show also will feature Mr. Crowley is a well-behaved dog who got abandoned at a store by his homeless owner. Tia’s daughter helps to care for the dog. The audience will also get a chance to meet Alicia. She is an emaciated dog in need of another chance. When a rural shelter cannot take any more dogs in. Tia Torres comes to the rescue. She saves the pups from her horrible fate. Things take an unexpected turn when one of her employees get arrested again.
The upcoming season won’t certainly be boring.
When is it going to be released?
Season 16 will reach our screens by July 26th, 2020. Till then, let’s wait to see the biggest pit bull rescue center in action again.
