Riviera is an Ireland drama television series. Neil Jordan is the creator of the show. The series premiered on 15 June 2017 on Sky Box Sets and NOW TV. The series immediately became famous. It is one of the most successful original TV series of Sky Box Sets. Later the show released in the US on 9 February 2019 on Ovation. The show claims to have more than 2.3 million viewers per episode. Apart from this, the show has a record of more than 20 million downloads in total.
Looking at this immense success of the show, the producers decided to release the second season of the show. The successor of the first season released on 23 May 2019. Riviera Plot:
Georgina Marjorie Clios is the lead of the show. The story revolves around the incidents that follow her after the death of her billionaire husband, Constantine Clios. Constantine dies tragically in a yacht accident. The show sets in the French Riviera.
Georgina is an art curator. After the death of his husband, Constantine, she goes in a deep shock. She plans to unveil the mystery behind his husband’s death. On her journey in solving the mystery, she gets herself deep in the world of crime.
Riviera Season 3 Updates:
The producers announced the renewal of the show for the third time, back in May 2019. Since then, there has been no official news or announcement regarding the development of the show. According to some sources, the crew began filming in the fall, 2019. Since then, there are no updates. Earlier we hoped for season 3 to release in 2020 itself. But, the current situation makes the release difficult.
However, our safest bets on the dates of the show will be sometime in 2021.
