'Room 104' Season 4

Room 104 is a multi-genre American TV series. The show features a different plot and settings for each episode. The series consists of thriller, horror, anthology, and drama elements in it. Jay and Mark Duplass are the producers of the show. It premiered on July 28, 2017, on HBO. The show received positive reviews from the critics. Room 104 secured an 87% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Looking at the success of the show, the producers released the second season on November 9, 2018. Later the show renewed for the third season and released on September 13, 2019.

Room 104 plot:

The show revolves around the incidents occurring in room number 104 of a generic hotel. It is still unclear where the hotel is and the name of the place. Each episode deals with a different story. With each of the stories, the zest of the show changes. Though the show falls in the horror category, there are many prominent elements as well. In one of the episodes, a haunted woman seeks spiritual guidance from a cult. This episode casts the show as a horror show.

However, in another episode, an aspiring writer leaves his laptop in his apartment. He calls his mother, who is not very technologically advanced to mail him the important stuff from his laptop. The entire show is vocal and displays a vibrant spectrum of emotions. Although, the theme of the story changes with every episode, one thing remains constant. That thing is the setting of the show. The show depends only on the sole setting of a room in a hotel.

The room number is 104.

Room 104, Season 4:

After successful three seasons, the producers decided to release season 4. The show renewed in 2019. The good news is that the crew finished off with the production process prior to the pandemic shutdown. The shooting commenced in September 2019. That means, that the fourth season is on the track. However, the producers made it very clear that this season will be the finale of the show. That means, there will not be the fourth season.

The third season will release on July 24, 2020. Apart from HBO, the viewers can watch the entire series on HBO’s OTT streaming platform, Disney+Hotstar.
