Stargirl is an American superhero television series. Geoff Johns is the creator of the show. Stargirl premiered on May 18, 2020, on streaming service DC Universe.
Stargirl is the adaptation of DC Comics superhero Courtney Whitmore. The show did exceptionally well on screens. It scored 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. The critics and the audience loved the work of the characters of the show. Also, the experts appreciated the setting of the show and the cinematography.

Premise

Courtney Whitmore is a high school girl. She goes by the alias of Stargirl. One day, she finds a powerful cosmic weapon, known as the cosmic staff. This staff turns Courtney Whitmore into the superheroine, Stargirl. Courtney gets the weapon almost a decade after the fall of the Justice Society of America. Every member of the Justice Society of America gets killed in the battle against the Injustice Society of America.

Whitmore after finding the staff discovers that her stepfather, Pat Dugan was the sidekick of the superhero, Starman. She then decides to break the patriarchy in the line of superheroes and becomes Stargirl. She later becomes the leader of the second part of the Justice Society of America.

Season 2

In the first season of the show, Stargirl did well on the screens. The show managed to acquire an impressive share of viewers and fanbase. To DC lovers, the show is a treat!
The first season of the show concluded on August 11, 2020. Looking at the love and appreciation received by the show, the creators have decided to renew the show for the second season.
