Stumptown Season 2

Stumptown is an American crime drama television series. Jason Richman is the creator of the show. Stumptown premiered on ABC, on September 25, 2019. The show is the adaptation of a comic book series, Stumptown, by Greg Rucka, Matthew Southworth, and Justin Greenwood. The critics received the show very positively. It scored 92% approved ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. The first season of the show concluded on March 25, 2020. Season one of the show contains eighteen episodes in total.

Stumptown Plot:

Dex Parios is the protagonist of the show. Dex is an ex-Marine. She now works as a private detective. Dex has to take care of her brother and clear the debts. She lives in Portland, Oregon. Dex suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She worked as a military intelligence in Marine in Afghanistan. There she gets injured in an explosion. Apart from her injury, she loses her college-lover in that explosion.

Soon, she gets herself deep in gambling and later in debt. Her life becomes unstable. Then she decides to become a private investigator. The police take her consultation when they get confused in the case. Grey McConnell is the owner of the Bad Alibi bar. He is the closest friend of Dex. Grey supports Dex and employs her brother in his bar.

Stumptown Season 2:

The first season of the show managed to get positive reviews from the critics and the viewers alike. It developed an impressive viewership and fan base.

Looking at the success of the show, the creators announced the renewal of the show in May 2020. 

Currently, the second season is in the fall schedule of the channel. However, looking at the COVID pandemic, it is really difficult to predict the exact release date of the second season.
