Sweet Magnolias Season 2

Inspired by the novel “Sweet Magnolias’ written by Sherryl Woods, the series Sweet Magnolias was a hit amongst the audience. The story revolves around 3 life – long friends from South Carolina and their struggle with family, career, and relationships in a small town known as Serenity. The series has scored a whopping 75% on “Rotten Tomatoes”. The audience has been constantly tweeting about how badly they want a second season of Sweet Magnolias since the ending has left the audience in a curious case.

Sweet Magnolias Season 2 Release Date

Since the pandemic has hit badly, there has been no confirmation on the second season of Sweet Magnolias. Although there has been no confirmation from Netflix about renewing the series, they haven’t denied the possibility of the second season as well. The shooting, of course, will have to wait for the pandemic to cease.  The whole cast of “Sweet Magnolias” is hoping for the second season. Heather who played the role of Helen, said in an interview with “The Sun”, that all the cast dearly wants to have the second season to answer the unfinished questions.  The series ends up with a cliff-hanger dramatic ending, which has left the audience to crave more and more for another season.

What to Expect in Season 2?

The season ends with many unfinished scenes and stories. Kyle gets into a car accident. Season 2 will focus mainly on what happens to Kyle after the accident and who all were with him? Who are Issac’s biological parents? Is Noreen still in the scene? Will Ty and Annie resolve everything? The season second will hopefully be an answer to all the questions that were left in the minds of the audience. Well, we all are yet waiting for an official announcement from the Netflix for the release of Season 2.
